Eve Of The Living Bread was created by Punctuality Studio. Which comprises of five students from Priestley College in Warrington UK. Sam Leach, Kira Burniston, Emily Brown, Beth Worthington and Jack Everett are second year students taking a Btec in Game Design. This is their first attempt at a Game Jam ran over 4 day by Game Design graduates.They were given 3 themes to choose from and 28 hours directed time to build it.
Story
In a small bakery in a small village on Christmas eve, Greg is working minimum wage as a security guard. As the clocks strike midnight, the power suddenly goes out. Somehow, defying all science of electricity, the ovens turn on and churn out living Gingerbread Men hell-bent on destroying Christmas.
The only one able to stop them? Greg.
You play as Greg, a night guard who works at Home Sweet Home bakery. The objective of the game is to turn off the ovens without being killed by the Gingerbread men.
